    Hello Guys,

    Need Advice from you all.

I appeared for AUD for second time on and I know I have failed because I know I answered

many MCQ’s incorrectly/guessed and Sims were disaster and I know i bluffed on atleast 3 coz I couldn’t even make use of

AL tab in sims. The first time I gave AUD I was so happy because my exam had gone well,I mean i was knowing whats happening.

But I know this time exam was bad.Last time i missed it by 2 points this time the score is going to be worst.

So I am left with BEC and AUD again if I don’t clear AUD. Cant appear in August because will receive the scores in August midweek.

And as per my knowledge you cant sit for same exam twice in one window?? Am i Right??

So people should I move on to BEC prepare that and give that in October ?? and then AUD in November

Because even though i fail AUD cant just keep preparing for that until October.

I am so confused please Advice. I am lost in this whole process.Cant get out the worst feeling of AUD exam.

Your Insights will be very helpful to me. Anyone who has been through same.

    Any Suggestions -_-

I'm pretty sure you're right that you can't sit for the same exam twice in the window.

So I'd say move on to BEC. 🙂 It will be awhile till you have scores for AUD, and you never know – you could've passed! All the time, people think they've failed and come out with an amazing score. I'm assuming at this point that you won't try to get BEC this window…but you can still study like crazy for it, so that you can pass with ease at the very first of October, and then have up to 2 months to re-study for AUD. If you passed AUD, then studying for it again right now would be a waste of time. And if you didn't, then taking a break with BEC and coming back to AUD fresh might still be good! If you do BEC next, then after BEC, I would suggest starting from Ground Zero to study for AUD – pretend you never took it at all and are starting from the ground up. That way, you'll basically have the prep for your 73 again (and maybe more!), plus what you've remembered from studying for it the past 2 times, and you'll be in much better shape! A tip I've heard a few times on the form is: Don't study for 2 points – study for 75. You might've been doing that already, but thought I'd pass it on.

    Hey Elisabeth,

    Thanks for your advice 🙂

Yeah I prepared this time for audit like I prepared for first time..I even watched lectures

for some chapter to gain better understanding.

It was a bad experience the second time.I felt like i know my audit stuff but the answer options were too close.

So yes I think I will start with BEC then tackle AUD.

BEC also seems tough..doing becker BEC chapter 1.Operations mgmt is lot of calculations n formula.

Will wait for AUD score, prepare for BEC and pray to god

    Good Luck

Maybe you didn't fail AUD. I think the default is to feel discouraged after each exam. You may have gotten lucky in your guesses or know more than you realize.

Anyway, you can't take the same exam twice in one window so yes, study for BEC and hope you never have to see AUD again.

    Best of luck to you!

Are you currently working? If not, you may want to try and take BEC at the end of this testing window (end of August). BEC really doesn't have that much content, and assuming you are a decent writer, it really isn't too difficult of a test to pass. If you can put in 20 hours of study time a week, I think you would be able to pass BEC if you took it on ~August 31st.

    Audit: 97
    BEC: 92
    REG: 89
    FAR: (8/30/2013)

@evesocal- I wish that would be the case.I keep thinking of all the mistakes in exams and get depressed.I know i should move past to it.But somehow it just is not going away.Even in Sim i did lot of guessing so i dont know. Thanks for those words I wish they turn out that way 😐

@MetsWONin86- you know what yesterday night i was thinking through the same thought of appearing BEC in august end.I am not working but I take long to study as in

    1) I watch video lectures..i am using Becker

    2) read it on my own to understand and put down concepts in my mind

    3) Work the MCQ.write notes for answers even the one i get right bcoz they have nice explanations for some.

    4) again write imp notes from the textbook to narrow it down and be confident abt the chapter.

I know its lengthy process. So i dont know how i will manage by end of month.I can skip making notes frm textbook.I know many people do it in month time.i need like 2 weeks for revision itself.

Awww i feel i am so slow n dumb 🙁

Well you definitely aren't slow and dumb because you have passed both Reg and FAR. You can definitely pass both Audit and BEC!

If the potential for losing the fee to sign up for BEC isn't a catastrophic loss for you, I would definitely recommend trying to take BEC at the end of this month. You seem to have a very good system to ensure that you not only get the answers correct on tests, but you actually understand the concepts. If you are willing to put in the time for the next few weeks, I would definitely recommend signing up for BEC at the end of this month. You can pass it, you just need to work hard!

Don't be discouraged my exam experience is as follows.

Took REG first, felt like it went badly and passed with an 80, then I took BEC, felt like I did even worse and was sure I failed and ended up receiving an 87. Moral of the story is you never know until the scores are released. It is very well that many of the questions you guessed on were test questions and were not counted (even some of the SIMS).

    ***side note***

Recently took FAR and waiting for results, felt like I did well which scares me, since I did awful on the others and ended up passing.

    REG: 80 (4/1/13)
    BEC: 87 (5/29/13)
    FAR: 82 (7/31/13)
    AUD: 63, 69, 86 (1/3/14)
