Just want to say that I really like the new video lectures for the Gleim FAR section. It is only for this section, but they are great. They take between 1.5 and 2 hours to get through but Dr. Passard Dean goes through about 15-20 M/Cs in great detail throughout each chapter and he keeps repeating the most important material. Not to mention he throws in some fun experiences as well.

What i’ve found is my multiple choice scores have gone way up compared to when i just watched the audio/visual lectures which took half the time and were very hard to stay awake through. They still offer that but I have used the new video lectures for the first 14 subunits. I was given gleim with my masters program. I have always felt they have good m/cs but the audiovisuals were very weak. Hopefully they make these new videos for all 4 parts!

Yup…Dr Deans lectures helped me a lot, you should utilize them.

Someone complained about his accent on this forum sometime ago and I was really surprised that his accent could even be a topic for discussion, well I'm glad nobody contributed to that thread.

Anyway, he usually doesnt go into details but he will remind you to do your own research and additional reading on some of the topics he deemed important.

Whoa, Gleim has video lectures now? I stopped using Gleim a few years back because of lack of videos. Are they any good?

CMaxwell, yeah I really like the FAR video lectures. I don't know if/when they will have them for the other sections, but FAR is a winner. I know I haven't taken/passed the FAR exam yet, but I feel more confident at this point in my studies than I did for Audit or Reg so I am really looking forward to taking this one on the 18th!
