No way in hell I'm gonna study New Year's Eve or New Year's Day, as long as I'm done with my review. I'm gonna study my ass off this weekend. My goal on NYE is to not get so completely wasted that I miss my exam on the 2nd haha. Maybe just a few appletinis.

What about an A71 online party?! woOooo.

I'm taking AUD on 1/3, just before I start working. Maybe I'll have a drink or two as I hang out with Tim Gearty. Really really really need to pass this brutal exam.

No Christmas or New Years party for me, taking REG on 01/05.

…maybe after. Really need a break though. I feel like I'm mentally breaking down right now.

Lmbo on all of the comments. Once u start a shot, down goes another one and then another one and before u know it, you're kneeling down to the porcelain throne. I'm just keeping it low key this year. Good luck fellow test takers. We must conquer this exam!

I'm feeling old reading these replies. To be honest though, I've never cared about New Year's Eve or Day. It will be the same as any other day for me; in bed by 10pm.

I can't remember the last time I even stayed up until midnight. Maybe 8 or 9 years ago at this point.

    Having a party :).

I'm young. I live downtown in my state's capital. I love my friends.

If I have learned one thing so far, it's that the more I relax, the easier it is to focus. If I wind myself up so tight I overwhelm myself (see first FAR score). If I was cooped up all night I would not be able to focus and would just be a Debbie Downer.

I'll spend part of the 1st being hungover and part studying. 🙂

Afterall, I need to celebrate the year that I will become a CPA, right?

I know I'll probably be studying since my exam is on the 2nd at 8am. I don't want to mess up a passing score for a fun night. I just want to pass my first section.

    I'm in this boat too!

Re-taking BEC 1/6 so I plan to use my weekends and random holiday days during the week off from work to STUDY STUDY STUDY (all a few hours all other days too, of course).

And, funny planning story that guys might find boring but girls may appreciate: I'm getting married in May and just booked my hair/makeup girl, who recommends a “trial run” for your hair and makeup prior to the wedding date… ok sure I'll do it. To make the best use of my time and money, I planned my session with her on the Saturday of the first weekend after our scores will likely be released (Feb.9-10) so that when my fiancé takes me out to eat at my very favorite fancy restaurant to celebrate my “half way there” accomplishment by eating lamb chops and downing gin n tonics, I'll be looking my very finest.

    REG - 65, 70, 80!
    BEC - 35, 62, 79!
    AUD - 73, 75!
    FAR - 65, 73, 70, 75! DONE.
