I am curious to see everyones opinion on the difficulty of these questions. Are they too easy? I am taking FAR and got an 86 and 83 on the 2008 and 2009 released questions.

I finished going through the released questions from 2013 for REG last night and I felt like they were easy too. I didn't keep score, but there weren't many that I got wrong.

    BEC - 78 (8/30/13)
    REG - 73 (1/31/14) - 76 (4/7/14)
    ***GETTING MARRIED 7/19/14***
    FAR - after the wedding
AUD - also after the wedding

"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." - Jeremiah 29:11

I felt that way about the release questions I took as well. I didn't necessarily get them all right because I wasn't even in review phase when I went through them, but they did seem “easier” than my study materials. I didn't look at the release questions for my other exams, but I do think the wording on the actual test was easier than my review questions too. Several people told me the release questions are a good indicator of whether or not you know the material so I'm going to keep going over those.

I agree that the wording of the questions on the actual exam tends to be simpler than review course questions. I like the broad range of subjects in the released questions because it helps me go over several subjects at once and reveals which subjects I'm weaker in. I think they're definitely a good resource, and they seem to be a little bit of a confidence booster.

Just search Google for AICPA [section] released questions and you should get several years worth of questions.
