NINJA Question –

I am using NINJA for REG. Just failed it a second time, both times with a 73. I just started using the combo materials for REG. What’s your study strategy with the NINJA materials? Not sure what order to use them in. I have started listening to the lectures in my car and I also have started working on some MCQ’s.

Any good tips from veteran NINJA users?

I only used Ninja MCQ for REG because it wasn't out when I took any of my other tests. I would write a section of ninja notes and answer all the questions in the MCQ for that section. Then I moved on to the next section of rewriting notes, take a quiz on that section, then do a small review quiz on the prior sections to try to keep them fresh. One thing I absolutely regret is that I didn't work the SIMS until the week before the exam. This time I will work the SIMS as I go through each section instead of waiting until the end. There is a list of SIMs with their corresponding topics that Jeff posted months ago. If I find it I'll post it here for you.

I had Ninja Audio on constant replay in my car. It didn't matter if I had gotten to that topic in Wiley yet or not– if it came up on Ninja Audio, I listened to it. My attention and retention were not great when I first started, but as I got deeper into my studies, the more info started to sink in.

When I have Ninja Notes, Flashcards, or Blitz, I tend to use those in my 2 week review period right before I test, just to help drive things home.

I haven't used Ninja MCQ, but I'd probably use it like I used WTB, doing sets of 20-30 questions on one topic and looking at the hints and explanations carefully.
