    NINJA Question –

I just started using NINJA MCQ for FAR and currently I am still in the assessment phase. After doing about 200 MCQ’s I have about 50-60 missed questions. I wanted to review the missed questions so i decided to custom the MCQ session to only give previously missed questions.

My question is: if do these custom MCQ sessions and answer questions previously wrong correctly does it affect the adaptive learning phase? I still have about 3 weeks before my retake and I want to use the program properly going forward. Would you recommend completing the assessment phase before engaging in custom MCQ’s to review previously missed questions, or is it ok to start reviewing now?

Sure, do it whatever way you want. I won't be going over the ones I missed until later but this way works as well. I just do sessions of 50-100 at a time every single day. There is nothing wrong with going the ones you missed before moving on.

Since i don't know what the adaptive learning phase is like, i don't want me answering the missed questions affect how the adaptive phase is set up. Meaning if i answer the missed questions correct, would it not show questions of that topic in the adaptive phase.

I really don't know how it works either, but just make sure you are getting the material before moving on.

Does anyone else use WTB and now also NINJA MCQ?

I am very familiar with WTB, but now I'm having some troubles adjusting to ninja mcq. For instance, I like to answer all the MCQ of one topic and move on to the next.

The section that I am working on now, has 136 total questions, and I completed 100 yesterday. Now I just want to be able to answer the 36 that I have remaining. Is there an easy way to do this?

Even if I start a session of 40 MCQ from this topic, I am seeing repeats and do not know if I have seen every question.

I would have chosen to answer all 136 MCQ at once also, but that wasn't an option.

@GoCards…go to Customization page to setup your options.

If you work previously missed questions, it will impact the adaptive learning if you get them correct…you'll still seem them later on, just not as much.

All of that to say – I recommend doing whatever you feel comfortable with and going with it.

You'll be in the adaptive learning phase until you get every question correct at least once and the software will feed your trouble questions to you along the way.

Thanks Jeff for the reply, by now I am in the adaptive learning phase. I've been doing 50-100 MCQ's per day, and I'm scoring anywhere from 60-70% on them, all of the questions I've been doing are from customizing the MCQ's to show only new questions. (this way I don't see repeats, and I cover more material)

Would you recommend using the custom MCQ option to only give new questions until you've seen all 1,400 questions, and then at that point depart from customizing MCQ and allow the program to generate the questions?

I have about 900 unseen questions.
