You can pick questions by question number, which is really helpful when you want to do SIMS on certain topics. Jeff released a breakdown of SIMS by number and topic. I copied that to excel and sorted by topic then just did all the SIMS for each topic by using the “by number” option on the SIMS link. You can do the same thing with questions, but there are so many that I never though to write down the number of certain questions I may want to specifically go back to. Troubled questions allows the system to pick your trouble questions and focus on those. If you've only gone through them once this won't be anymore helpful to you than the “Missed last time seen” option, but if you've gone through a topic several times and want to refresh on it, it would be a good choice to see which ones you had the most trouble on. However I am under the impression that the “adaptive learning” phase does the same thing when you pick a random selection of questions. It will pick your trouble spots to repeat to you. It's just giving you different options at getting to the questions you had trouble on.

You can find the number in the bottom left hand corner as you go through each question.
