    NINJA Question –

Should I get ninja notes and is it beneficial? Need people’s opinions on this (those who’ve used it and passed the exam). Right now, using CPAexcel. Not sure if this really did prepare me for AUD. Was doing 80-90 on the practice exams, but obviously the real exam will give you different questions and simulations – so you have to understand the principles and concepts of what you study. But then again, do the Ninja notes ever help at all? I just don’t want to waste $$ on it if it doesn’t.

I think they are a great help! I absolutely love them. I recently purchased AUD and REG notes and I wish I had purchased AUD it before.

    FAR - 81 (2/13), Expired. 🙁 Retake 79 (11/14)
    AUD - 63 (10/13), 71 (2/14), 69 (7/14), 81 (10/14) Finally!!!
    BEC - 77 (2/14)
    REG - 78 (5/14)

I found the Ninja notes very helpful for both FAR and AUD. I haven't taken the other two yet, so I can't say for those. I know there were several questions that I easily answered having re-written the Ninja notes. Good luck.

I haven't taken the exam yet, but I think so far ninja notes have helped me a lot in retaining information. Reading over part of the ninja notes every night is helping me keep fresh all of the different topics in FAR. Also when going through the MCQ in my review software, sometimes I run into a topic I haven't focused on much, but a little blurb I've read from ninja notes comes to mind and it helps me identify the answer.

    FAR - 99 (5/14)
    AUD - 89 (8/14)
    REG - 93 (4/15)
    BEC - 5/18/15

it's a supplemental study material that gives you a very broad overview of the different topics — which is useful in its own way – to help keep the concepts fresh

I raised my AUD score 20 points by adding Ninja notes/audio/falshcards. You do the math. 🙂

Totally helped me for AUD – I took my score from a 73 to a 90! I'm using them now for FAR and they are very helpful keeping things fresh in my mind.

I have only used Ninja with my review course for the 2 tests I have taken and passed on the first try (AUD and FAR). I think I can definitely recommend them. A coworker and I are studying for the tests together to help motivate each other, and I was just telling her a few weeks ago I think the Ninja notes really help focus you on the big picture. She is trying to be a perfectionist with studying, and I think that is encouraged by review courses. I think some review courses put a lot of emphasis on small details and acronyms and Ninja really helps you to refocus on major concepts that have helped me on numerous questions during the tests.

    AUD 83
    FAR 80
    REG 83
    BEC 81

Hi! I am glad you're now a CPA. With that 49 on AUD, did you feel like throwing in the towel afterwards? I am glad you did not give up. I take it that Ninja does help. I will purchase them after all. I am trying to find ways to pass the exam. I don't think my CPAexcel is doable by itself.

But, what an improvement from a 49 to a passing grade on AUD.
