    NINJA Question –

Okay so I’ve been studying REG for 6 days putting in roughly 3-4 hours/ day.

I’ve got the Becker book from a friend who highlighted and put a bunch of little comments and hints from watching the lectures.

So far I have been writing detailed notes for each section and I am halfway through R-4 as of tonight. This seems to be working for me as I would much rather read the material and take notes than watch someone on video and take notes. I feel like with all the highlights and additional quips my buddy included I should be getting most all the info I would have otherwise from actually watching the lectures..

Anyways I haven’t done any mcq’s yet other than some from the end of sections. Should I finish reading and taking notes on all the sections ( 8 for REG in Becker) and then start focusing solely on mcq’s or should I be doing mcq’s as I finish each sectio ? (I plan on buying WTB here soon)

Also I’m thinking about purchsing ninja notes as well to re write towards the end of my studying. Would I finish doing all mcq’s and then focus only on rewriting ninja in my last week or so? Or would I rewrite and also work mcqs ?

Okay I’ll end it here haha, thanks for any tips/insights

If what you are doing is working for you and you are retaining, then I would keep going with your reading and completing your notes, then you can add notes you take from working the MCQ to them. I usually rewrite the Ninja Notes and add my notes as I go along so I have one complete set of study notes going into my final review. I have done it both of the ways that you are talking about and I find that if I start the MCQs too early I get burnt out on them before my final review weeks and quizzing during the review is essential to keeping all the topics fresh before the test.
