    NINJA Question –

I recently purchased the Ninja MCQ+Sims and I really enjoy it. I am currently using Roger and while I really like his audio lectures and book, I do feel that his questions are a little too simplistic, which is why I purchased Ninja. With that being said I am wondering for anyone that has taken the FAR exam already, how similar/dissimilar did you find the Ninja SIMS to the actual exam? I know we can’t discuss specifics but I am just trying to gauge my progress. I realize on the actual exam it is a crapshoot with what questions you get so I am aware nothing is exact but I am trying to determine if the Ninja SIMS tend to be easier/harder/comparable to the actual exam. Thank you all.

I've taken FAR before (not recently) and the Ninja SIMS seemed comparable. That being said, I also used Ninja for AUD and BEC and the SIMS were also pretty spot on.

    bump.

Anyone go through all of the NINJA MCQ FAR SIMS? How long did it typically take. I have about 300 unanswered MCQs, but want to tackle the SIMS. With two full days left to study (Tuesday & Wednesday) I didn't know how much time to devote to practicing the SIMS. I'm saving Thursday (busy during the day) night before exam day to relax and look over notes and do some NINJA audio, no more MCQ attempts.

Just to note, I did about 1/3 of the SIMS in Becker already. What are everyone's thoughts on this? I got weaker on the SIMS last time so I am pretty nervous about it.

I feel as though you can study all the sims you want, but none of the ones you saw will be anything like what is on the exam.

You really need to understand concepts. It's fine to do some practice SIMS but I wouldn't spend time doing all of them. I think doing MCQs is a better way to spend your time to be honest.

    A - 84
    R - 81
    B - 77
    F - 81

Thanks for the input. I'm starting to think that way as well. When I took REG I literally looked at about 5 SIMS the night before my exam. I'm more paranoid about FAR though. I'm going to finish out the MCQ's and then hit the review stage. Any remaining hours I'll look at a few more SIMS.

    Thanks again!
