    NINJA Question –

Greetings everyone! 2016 is almost here, and this is my year to pass the exam! I have a MBA and a CFE….but, I transitioned out of the accounting world several years ago so I feel like I’m starting from scratch when it comes to accounting knowledge and studying in general!

Currently, I plan to listen to the Ninja Audio each day to and from work (1 hour commute each way, 5 days a week), read the newly released Ninja Book for each section, and trend in the 80’s on Ninja MCQ before sitting for an exam.

I plan to take 1 exam at a time, beginning with AUD followed by FAR, REG and BEC.

Will this work? Is Ninja Audio/Ninja Book and the Ninja MCQ enough to get this done?

I purchased all the materials for AUD offered from Ninja as part of the Black Friday BOGO offer (That I thought was great! Thanks Jeff!) so I’m wondering if the methods used above will suffice, or if I need to implement the other materials into my studies?

Any experiences would be helpful for a has been accountant like me!

    Thanks guys!

for aud i used ninja book and mcq's with a little free blitz! thrown in and did great. (awful experience, though) the book aligns perfectly with the mcq sections. start at the beggining and go book section to mcq section doing custom sessions for all new questions. pull in prior sections for larger review sessions as you proceed.
i am blue in the face from saying it but print the home pages for all the standards and refer to them as you study. everything in audit is based on the standards so read a few to firm grasp of presentation and format and know how they are organized to get through sims during your exam. go to aud study group someone just reposted where i provided all the links to standards.
know pcaob is for issuers and aicpa is for nonissuers. read the descriptive paragraph for each standard on the home page. believe me this helps especially when you do it from the start. by the time you hit review you will know which type of engagement you need to reference and whether the topic has its own standard. know the difference between the numbered paragraphs and the ones that start with A.
i did far first and it played very well with audit next to be followed by bec. audit assumes you know financial reporting and GAAP.

    AUD - 93
    BEC - 82
    FAR - 76
    REG - 88
    How have you been?

If you want things to change you have to do something different.

    FAR 7/25/15 76!
    AUD 10/30/15 93
    BEC 2/27/16 82
    REG 5/23/16 88!
Ninja Book and MCQ and the forum - all the way!!!
and a little thing i like to call, time and effort!
