I’m doing a practice research SIM for REG in the 2014 WTB. It allows me to search the IRC, and I’ve located the correct section, etc., but when I select the drop down menu to put “IRC” (as opposed to AU-C, etc.) there is no IRC available. I’ve never done any practice research SIMs for REG so I want to make sure I’m not missing something here. It seems like there should be an IRC option available, especially since that’s the only literature it’s allowing me to research..??

Yes, I think you're right– in 2013 WTB, the only options I'm getting are IRC and TS.

In 2014, there is no IRC on mine either, and none of the choices on the list they give you are even formatted correctly for an IRC section in case they decided on some other weird abbreviation.

I don't think they beta tested 2014 very well before releasing it. There's a long thread of problems with it here. The good thing is that they seem to be reading that thread and taking notice of the feedback. You should consider posting this complaint there to help make sure they see it.
