Hi all,

I’ve been study for AUD for the past month using Becker and also have CPAExcel Wiley material. I decided to start looking through the Wiley videos randomly and noticed that the old GAAS Principles/Changes/ and now acceptance by PCAOB were not acknowledged in becker [“TID PIE GSGO”].

I was trying to find the exact question but in becker when asked:

“what is meant by the term GAAS”

the correct answer was along the lines of “measuring the quality of the auditors performance” (in becker). However the new changes constitutes the correct answer as “issued by the Auditing Standards Board” (as pointed out by Wiley). Now this leads me to believe that there might be more changes not updated in the Becker material which could cause problems during the test. Has anybody else come across similar situations? Im debating on switching over to Wiley completely and starting over considering I have a month left.
