So i say on NASBA that i ended up getting a 72 on AUD. My NTS expires 9/15 but i really want to schedule my next AUD exam for the first week of October. Do i have to wait until that expires then re-apply for a new NTS in order to try and secure my test date. Is it possible to schedule the other October exam with the same NTS that will expire 9/15?

    FAR - Passed 4/2016
    AUD - Passed 11/2015
    REG - ?
    BEC - 05/28/2016

    1) If you are talking about using the same NTS for the same section you recently took, that is not allowed. Once you sit for a section, you will have to get a new NTS in order to sit for it again the next window, even if you haven't reached the expiration date. (Per the ILBOA as I contacted them about this same issue after my first AUD failure.)

    2) You do not have to wait for anything to expire. If you have received your results, you can immediately reapply for a new NTS and it will not mess anything up. I am sitting for REG at the end of this month and just applied (this morning) for another NTS for FAR and AUD so I can schedule those for October and November.

    Hope this helps.

Your AUD NTS was forced to expire early by using it to sit. It basically expired on the earlier date of 9/15 or the day you took the exam.
