Can you transer an NTS after it has been issued by the current State Board if you want to take exam in another State? For example, if someone is planning to move, etc.

Or do you have to take it in the state that has already issued?

I believe that you can actually schedule at a Prometric center in any state. For example, if Indiana issued me an NTS, I am pretty sure that I can schedule at a Prometric center in Michigan. Is that what you are asking?

    FAR 12/3/14, 87
    AUD 2/3/14, 90
    BEC 4/1/14, 88
    REG 5/27/14, 94

You can schedule your test in any prometric center in any state after you get your NTS. If you're talking about obtaining your license from the new state or getting future NTS from the new state then I think you have to apply to the new state to make sure you meet all of the new state's criteria to be eligible to sit and then transfer your scores of previously taken tests from old state to new state.

    Thanks @lindrobe and @cpamommy!

For now I was just concerned about scheduling at different prometric testing center.
