Hey guys, I have a question for those who have completed the NY CPA License application, especially if you attended college OUTSIDE NY (I went to school in Washington, D.C.).
Form 1, page 2, Question 15, reads: “Indicate your route to complete the educational requirement for licensure:
-New York State 120 semester hour licensure qualifying accounting program
-New York State 150 semester hour licensure qualifying accounting program
-All other degree programs
-Fifteen years experience
I am applying with well over 150 hours, but I’m not sure if I mark “All other degree programs” or “New York State 150 hour licensure qualifying accounting program.” Technically, my educational requirements “qualify” for the NY License, but I don’t think it technically is a NY State “accounting program.” Anyone have any insight to shed on this? Thanks!
