    Hi guys.

I found out last week that I passed REG and have now passed all four parts of the exam. I am in NY. I currently don’t have the experience yet. Can some one please explain what’s next for me.

    Thanks

Harry, I found out on Friday I passed the 4th part as well and I am in NY. After unsuccessfully looking around the internet for a while I called the NY Exam Coordinator and was told that we will be receiving a letter from NASBA in 2 weeks giving us the next steps. I have the experience so I am not sure how much different it is for me and you. I could be wrong, but I believe what we get from NASBA is an application for licensure and you have to have your employers fill out the experience portion for you, so MAYBE you will just have to wait until your experience is completed before sending away the form. I am sure the instructions will say what to do, if not call the NY Exam Coordinator and they can help you.

    REG - 1/8/11 - 75
    BEC - 7/2/11 - 55, 2/25/12 - 79
    AUD - 1/7/12 - 81
    FAR - 5/19/12 - 87

You'll want to google NYSED / public accountants / licensing. It's Form 4b that gets filled out, separately by you and your employer(s), to document your related work experience. It just needs to be signed by a licensed CPA. Internships count!

    Couldn't pass again!

I know I replied to this thread last night, but my post seems to have gotten deleted. Whatever. I'm too tired to repost it. If unknowingly broke rules, then I'm sorry.

@jelly- Internships may count, but you have to work for that CPA full-time for a whole year.

Does the letter come in mail?

Is it the latest address that you updated when you applied for the last section of the CPA exam or the address that you submitted way back when you first submitted the application (to see if you can sit for the exam after graduation)?

    FAR - 86
    REG - 85
    BEC - 90
    AUD - 84
