Timeline released by the AICPA: http://www.another71.com/cpa-exam-scores-results-release/
LOL I started a thread on this earlier!
I just noticed that :)
Wow, I never thought the AICPA had it in them to be this specific, I'm impressed!! I have my exam scheduled already for the 45th day of the testing window, here's to hoping I'm not pushed to the next score release target date. I may only have to wait a week for my score!!
......and up up up goes my blood pressure already! LOL!
Question: If i take AUD in october and receive my score in Nov. I can't take the test till January?
Wow, this seems so much faster! Let's hope AICPA holds true to their promise! Im testing on the 36th day and the 57th day of the Oct/Now testing window....
Correct. You can only take a section once per quarter.
WOW this is going to be stressful!! I will know results before I take my next exam!
@gottagetmycpa, me too! Hopefully good news, because who knows how bad news will affect my test, especially when I get the news 4 days before..
Yay! The first testing window in two years where I don't have to study!!!! Mwahahahaha!
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Way to rub it in. :-P
I'm sorry!! I'm just so happy! :-D
But I'll still be here cheering for you, Morty! #1 fan right here.
lol. We are happy that you are happy.
Nice, my own fan club! Population = 1. lol.
@mini you know we all heart you.....
I know, I know. Whats not to love? ;-P
When are you scheduled for BEC?
Kandisjoy - I share your sentiments.
I'm glad that those still testing will get at least a little relief with a better score release process. No more of these ridiculous and mysterious WAVES whenever they feel like it!
I can't believe we won't have to wait until Christmas for results! I'm testing on the 15th and 57th days of the testing window.
October 15th is sneaking up on me and the nerves are piling on! Good luck to all. This should be an interesting testing window.
@mini-I have to wait for the Texas Board to tell NASBA that I'm eligible...once that gets communicated I can pay NASBA and then wait for my NTS. Once I get my NTS I'm looking around the Nov 11th or so...I have to see what's open at the Prometric centers around here.
About a month and a half of study time? You are totally going to rock it. 92 for sure!
Yeah I sure hope that's enough time...I didn't want to have too much time and then i would procrastinate...
Oh, man. You guys have it made now. When I sat for the exam blah, blah, blah....
@Allyson-- I'm sticking my tongue out at you...
I just realized, on Sep 29 (LOL) that tomorrow is fiscal year end at work. Going to add a whole dimension of stress to the next few weeks......*sigh*
@keeptrying, LOL
They better not torture you again or I'm coming after them.
So if I am testing on 10/20, following this schedule, does that mean I am in the first release or the second? The asterik beside Day in Testing Window makes it sound like the day you take it and the day they receive it are different, any thoughts?
Thanks for the info!! I was going to schedule for 10/22 but now I am pushing that up a few days to get in the first release (hopefully).
So if you take it on November 30th, you receive it one week later??? hard to believe lol
I know eartzi!
I'm planning to take REG the Saturday before Thanksgiving week, and I'm supposed to get my score 2 weeks later? Really? When it took them FOREVER to release my FAR & BEC. I won't believe it until I see it LoL
Jeff, with the new release dates from AICPA, will it matter if you get a new SIM ? Will that automatically move a candidate to the end of the testing period to get their scores ?
This release info made my day!! I take FAR on 11/21 and if they make their release target date...I will find out while I am on vacation in Maui if I passed my final test!!
Even if I fail...at least I'll be in Maui :) Won't be able to get to down about things that way!
So, If I take FAR Ocotober 20th and find out that I royally bombed it in the beginning of November, can I retake it in November? ha!
@jenuno01-I doubt they changed the rule on sitting for the exam more than once in a testing window. IF they did though that would be pretty awesome.
Just finished taking AUD...I guess we'll see if the release dates prove true
What is everyone doing? Working? Studying? Come back and entertain me!!
Working :-( It's quarter end, so I'm super busy working on the Call Report (bank FDIC filing). Then I'll have the FR Y-9C, FR Y-9LP, Y8, Y11 for the Fed... and a few other reports. I probably won't be super active on these forums again until December when things slow down a tad for me. Every quarter end it's like this. Oh and we have auditors here for 5 weeks doing SOX testing and I guess some other stuff. I'm going to meet with one of them in half an hour to do a Fixed Asset Walkthrough and have a Fraud meeting where they ask me if there's anything I need to tell them concerning fraud at the bank.
I'm just feeling sorry for myself because I have a fever and a headache, so I've come to these forums to take a break. My boss has told me that if I feel sick that I should go home, but we're going out for lunch today to celebrate me passing my exams, so I don't want to! It takes more than a mild fever to make me miss out on filet mignon and scallops...
How's life Mini?? I see you're taking BEC in a couple days... Did you change your test date? For some reason I thought you were taking it later in the testing window.
Wow, you are one busy bee!! Hope you feel better too!
Life is good. Busy as always. Yeah, I was scheduled to take BEC on Monday, October 10th, but I am ready now so I moved it to this Friday. Looking forward to being done with the exams.
Keep us updated if you hear anything from the CBA. I am using you as a timing guinea pig to gauge how quick the turnaround for licensure is.
I guess it wasn't that much of a change. Good luck on your test - I'm sure you'll blow it out of the water!
I called the CBA yesterday asking how long the licensing process takes, and she told me around 6 weeks. She said that if you submit all of your information (Live Scan, Experience, Ethics Exam, etc) before you submit your application, your application will be processed much faster. She said that they only review applications once per week or something like that... So say they get your application, but nothing is there yet. They stick your application in a pile for review next week. However, if you had submitted your ethics exam, experience, all that BEFORE sending in your application, when they get your application they check and see that all of your stuff has been submitted, so they go ahead and process it.
I wish I had known this before (I submitted my applcation the day before I sent in everything else). But it might help you. :0)
Very interesting. So they are saying submit your experience early as well? I am done with the Ethics. So you think I should submit my LiveScan and Experience now?
Yep, that's what it sounds like to me.
Okie dokie then. Sounds like a plan to me. You just saved me at least an extra week of waiting. ;-)
@ minimorty
I wish I had some of your confidence!! Best of luck on Friday.
Lol, thank you, Yankee. Hopefully I am able to back up the confidence. We'll see.
minimorty...good luck on your exam.....not to your Yankees lol
GO RANGERS!
Haha. I'm just hoping we get a shot at the Rangers. One more game to go. Should be exciting!
@Kandis
I sent all of my information to the CBA in one envelope. Hopefully that will speed up the process.
Where are all the party people?
Studying....good luck tomorrow Minimorty
