    @megan- CONGRATS!!! Whoo hoo!!! 🙂

@keeptrying – I am SOOOO sorry to hear about your score! You will get it! If it makes you feel better, I am pretty sure I failed FAR. I forgot all the older material by the time I was ready to go back and review everything. I didn't have enough time to review it all. 🙁 They kept asking questions over and over on the two sections I could not recall for the life of me. I did well on the questions I did know! : /

I actually thought about postponing my test, cuz I felt SO unready. I decided to give it a try and at least see how the test is structured, and I thought I wouldn't stress about the score release process at all, and I would be super happy if I passed, but wouldn't be sad if I didn't…

Yet I am still sitting here wishing that Wednesday would come sooner…

Well, I do think I did a lot better than expected though.

@kronewantstobecpa…. your posting sounds like exactly my situation, except that I am waiting for BEC.

I was going to postpone to beginning of January, but then realized NTS will expire on 1/1/12. Now I am actually having hopes for passing. I still no not hope for 12/7 posting of my score, but more like the next day.

    REG Passed (78) expires 4/30/2013

well NASBA will usually tweet that they've received scores from the AICPA around 4:30pm on Wednesday. Then they will begin uploading scores into their system which some people will receive instantly others won't receive for 24-48 hours. If you're in a non NASBA state you may not receive scores until 24 to 36 hours later.

Lady in red: Which state are you in? Do you have a fairly early NTS?

I waited for my BEC score in the first score release of this window, and I got my score at about 4am the next day.

    Let's hope we passed:)

I am hoping my BEC score is up on Wednesday but I took the exam on Nov 30…. I wouldn't think that the AICPA would have received the score the same day but you would think so since everything should be quickly uploaded. Is there a time table for scores received after the close of the window? The AICPA website just says TBA.

bg_79, I believe that Nov 30 (my day, too) is still in the testing window, albeit the very last day, so I'm still imagining that Wed the 7th is still our day. Does anyone have any information to the contrary?

And here's a little levity! I read on another thread that Wed the 7th is a “red panty day,” where members are wearing red panties in solidarity for a good score report! (Check out the thread at https://www.another71.com/cpa-exam-forum/topic/score-release-red-panty-day#post-132111 )

soynofoam: oh im SO wearing some red panties that day then!!!

Nov 30th is also my test date. We will be waiting together.

What does it mean when you write your NTS is 459?? What does that mean?

    Thanks

@micheph, it's the first 3 numbers of your NTS. It seems that a pattern was noticed that scores were being released in the order of our NTS numbers so we have been putting those in comments to kind of gauge the timing of scores. It's not a fool proof system but we like to find order from chaos 🙂

    BEC 10/11/2010 77
    AUD 11/30/2010 81
    REG 02/25/2011 78
    FAR 11/28/2011 74,68, 83 and DONE!!! NTS LA #460

so if an nts starts with 466, what does that mean? a later release of the score??? thanks

I had NTS starting with 466 in last score release and I got my score the next day at 11:30 AM. I am in a NASBA state.

definitively scores are posted in batches by their NTS first 3 digits.

    Micheph-

I have/had the same first 3 numbers of my NTS for REG last month and AUD this month, and my REG score was out the next morning by 5:30am. So, I think it just varies depending on where you are. I'm not sure there is a scientific explanation for how this works!
