    Does anyone know what the “one of X many test takers gets a 99” on the exam?

    I’m curious of how common it is.

    Thanks.

    It's not common, but people do score a 99, it seems like it's usually for AUD.

    Not sure if anyone else has noticed that.

    Just looking at test scores in people's signatures, I'd wager that 1 out of 400 test takers score a 99.

    I figure that at most 2 out of 100 people score a 99. (2/100)

    With an appx 50% pass rate on all exams, the average CPA candidate probably takes 8 exams.

    Assuming most people who score 99 only do so on 1 part, I'd say the odds are 2/800 or 1/400.

    I got a 99 on AUD as well. I would say chances of getting a 99 are 1 in a billion 😉

    I've never seen a 99 on anything other than AUD. Has anyone on these boards gotten a 99 on one of the other 3?

    I'd be curious to see if someone got a 99 on BEC with the written communications. Although it's often considered one of the easiest exams, I feel like it would be the hardest to get a 99 on.

    @gt5717b – what was your sample method? Haphazard? It's too bad that nasba or aicpa don't supply us with sufficient appropriate evidence to render an opinion.

    @amanda reported getting 3 99s.

    Wow, it's hard enough to get a 75…..99 really? (Ok for me it is.) I know there are some CPA exam geniuses out there.

    It begins with a 75
