Offer Getting Revoked/Rescinded

Hi first post on here. I did a little Googling on stories of people getting offers revoked from Big 4. I just

received a full time offer with a Big 4 in a major NE City. I have a 3.39 GPA but this semester I am doing worse than usual.

I will have around a 2.9 GPA for the semester, as of now I think I will finish with a three B/B+s and one B-/C+. If I could get the 3.0 I would not be worried but I am thinking it will be a 2.9 for the semester, which is frustrating/really stressful since I just got the offer and instead of being happy I am even more stressed that I will end up getting it revoked once I have to submit my transcript at the end of the semester and again before I start full time in Summer. The offer letter does not say anything about keeping a certain GPA, it is just vague stating that the offer is contingent on maintaing academic standard.

    Any advice/stories?

i think you just have to maintain an overall 3.0 gpa (thats what it was for me anyway). i did worse my senior year also and my firm didnt say anything to me.

Tough times don't last. Tough people do.

Were you big 4 hire? How long ago was this for you? And a 3.0 in Accounting or Overall?

I wouldn't worry too much about it. I'd just brainstorm a response just in case the recruiter ends up asking you. But unless your GPA drops below a 3.0 I bet you're fine.

    Congrats on your offer!

If you have a 3.0 overall you are fine.
