Office Interview for audit position

    Greetings!

I hope everyone is well, I know that this is really late in the game. But I just got the email a day ago asking me to come for an office interview for a firm in Long Beach. It is for an audit internship during the busy season. I somehow think this is my last chance for an internship in public accounting because I did Meet The Firms and did not receive any interviews (maybe).

So they’re giving me a brief office tour. I have 3 interviews that day, one with the HR Manager, another with an audit partner, and another with a manager. What type of questions should I expect? I want to say that this is kind of like second round since I didn’t go to a school where they recruited. Will there be a lot of technical questions? (Should I start reviewing my audit stuff?) I’ve never spoken with anyone at the firm but contacted the HR manager by cold-emailing.

How should I review for this interview? Please any help would tremendously make a difference in my blank mind right now.

    Happy Halloween!!

We just went through intern interviews like that at my firm, and based on what I heard, it sounds like they don't expect you to know much– they are looking more for personality, attitude, willingness to learn, and the like.

Thanks, but what kind of questions should I ask in order to impress them?

Ask questions you are genuinely curious about. Seeming interested is the best way to impress.
