After a year and half of studying and 9 tests, I am finally done. This is the greatest feeling ever. Good luck to everyone out there who is still going through the process.

Can't believe that I'm actually done. Been studying for a year and passed each on my first try. Now I can focus on my wife and I having our first kid in a month.

Congrats everyone, and double congrats with the coming baby @Osprey!!

My first daughter was 18 months last year when I started studying for the exam, and after going back and forth with my wife as I finally decided we should wait until after I pass a couple of sections to have our second baby. Low and behold, we found out we were pregnant 1 week before I sat for FAR (my first exam). I never really took time away from my family except the few days leading up to the exam but couldn't stand the thought of prolonging it, so figured to smash them out and with support was able to do so. Our second daughter was born a week after tax day, and it was really anger at having to study to blast out REG and finish this thing.

Passing them is awesome, but the feeling that now I have the time I want with my family without this freakin' test hanging over my head, the best. Enjoy my man!!

Its been a long journey, but I'm DONE!! Im so excited. I have been studying/ taking exams since April 2016, with a full time job and 2 kids under 7 at home. My husband has been amazing on this journey with me. I couldn't have done it without his support and encouragement! Im so happy I found another71; this forum has been awesome for tips and encouragement. I used SurgentCPA for my study materials, supplemented with Roger Audio for REG. I switched to Becker for a retake of REG, but switched back after a 73 score. Good luck everyone. You can do it!!

I'm done! 9 months of studying and 2 months of waiting for my final score, but it's over now. It was horrible while I was going through it, but I'm glad I put in the time.

It has been one heck of a year. After passing FAR in August of 2017, I foolishly took a 6 month break from studying. Only then did I finally wake up and be concerned about the 18-month window and pushed myself to finish taking the rest of the CPA exam.

It has been a blessing to find this forum and to be able to read & share the difficulties of this journey with people who understand the struggles of studying and taking the exam.

I started this journey back in Jan 2016 – it began with a 75 on BEC. That set in motion my long drawn out struggle to succeed. Nearly 2.5 years later, I ended my journey passing BEC again with a 84 this time. I'm finally done!

Congratulations to everyone that has completed their exams. Good luck professionally and I'm sure we will all enjoy no longer neglecting our friends/family/significant others and we can finally have a life again!

Yaaaaaaay!! 98 on BEC. That's the last one. I am thrilled, relieved, and a bit shell shocked. I thought for sure BEC was the one to trip me up. I don't have any coherent thoughts left, so congrats to everyone else, and I can't wait to celebrate those of you with one or two more to go.
