I just got out of the testing center. Here’s how it went down. I studied my butt off for what I hope is my last exam. The MCQ’s I flew through. I marked only 3 throughout the MCQ’s. I felt there was nothing that could stop me from passing. Until… The frickin SIMS!!! I found the research question which was a great start. Then… I was hit with 5, yes 5, calculation only SIMs. I did not have one drop down. I couldn’t believe it. Has anyone had just manual calc. SIMs? Or has anyone felt like they bombed the SIMs and still passed? I passed FAR and AUD scoring weaker in SIMs, but I was able to give educated guesses on those drop downs. Please advise..

I don't remember any of my REG sims having drop down boxes. My AUD sims were FAR based and there were no drop downs for those either. Hopefully you got close enough to get a pass!
I bombed my AUD sims and still passed … I think I must have gotten almost all the MCQs right … I kid you not! I ended up with a 78. I deduce that you need to score comparable on both sections and pass or stronger on MCQ will get you a passing score with a weaker performance on sims.

i scored comparable on MCQ and weaker on SIMs for FAR and still passed with a 76. I think if you do well enough on the MCQs get the research question right, and 50% on the SIMs, you can pass. Well, that's what I'm hoping anyways. I guess we will see on Dec. 9th if that theory is accurate.. In the meantime, turkey and wine!

That is interesting about the comparable/weaker score and still passing … I would gladly take a 76 on FAR! Good luck! Happy Thanksgiving =)
