Ohio Criminal Records Check?

Can someone shed some light on this. New rule states that CPA certificate candidates must pass a criminal records check prior to having the license issued. Anyone know how scrutinized this is? I have a few…underage drinking charges on my record. No DUI’s and they all date back to about 6 years ago. I want to know if I’m wasting my time here.

I’ve searched and searched the Ohio revised code for any detail on this, but it is basically written in Mandarin.

    FAR - 70, 81
    AUD - 83
    BEC - 77
    REG - 70, 78

    Licensed in Ohio.

Now what the hell do I do?

I know for me they didn't get back into expunged records nor juvenile records. I think it depends on the state you're in. They should be doing background checks as you apply (at least that's what the form leads you to believe). I don't think you have anything to worry about unless it's a felony or a crime pertaining to stealing money
