Yes, successful completion of a professional standards course emphasizing Ohio law is required for CPA certification. The Ohio Society of CPAs offers two programs that qualify and are approved by the Accountancy Board: “Fundamentals of Ohio Accountancy Law” and “Professional Standards and Responsibilities-Ethics: Resources, Rules and Reminders.”
