Most people need much more time to cover a chapter. Remember, it's not a race. You need to be sure you understand the information and not just put the time in. In fact, I didn't track my time after my first exam. I found it made me more stressed and I decided I would cover a chapter thoroughly and understand it before moving on. I listened to the lectures, then took my notes as I read the chapter, then completed MCQs.
Remember to take progress tests to help you retain the info. you have learned in earlier chapters. Also, I found it helpful to review my notes on previous chapters every couple days to keep things fresh. If you have the flashcards they are also helpful to keep the info fresh. GL!
