I am taking REG on Saturday, August 9, and have taken the next week off from work. I am currently just doing new questions on Ninja MCQ and going over flashcards. Should I change things up next week, perhaps focus on sims and topics I am weak at?

Definitely focus on areas you're weak in.. but also be thorough with Corporate & Partnership Taxation as those are generally the heavily tested areas… Good luck!!!

For some reason my Ninja MCQ percentages are now dropping to the 40s. Not a good sign with one week before the exam.

Probably nerves. Don't focus on the score– focus on the material. Use your resources so that you are constantly reinforcing the material and the correct answers.

Definitely practice sims. For me they help make sure I'm understanding the big picture.

Just did a set of 30 MCQ only on Federal Taxation of Individuals, got a 63%. Not bad considering I've been doing terrible on this category with an average of 46%.

What kind of tax questions are u having trouble with? Do u notice any patterns? 40's seem kinda low. Are u having more trouble with individuals or entities?

Both with ndividuals and entities, although for half of the questions I got wrong, I could have gotten right if I had just RTMFQ. The main area I am getting destroyed at is Adjustments and Deductions to Arrive at Taxable Income.

Just did a session of only Federal Taxation of Entities topics and I got a 70%. Still only doing new questions.
