    Hi all,

I have passed the CPA exam. I currently have 126 credit hours. I plan to take online Master Accounting program but not sure if these credits will qualify for 150 credit hours requirement or not. I am from Virginia, does anybody know some online Master Accounting programs that its credits will be accepted by the board?

    Thanks a lot!!!!

Got my masters from Kaplan University. Ohio state board accepted it.

    FAR- 82
    REG- 93
    AUD- 89
    BEC- 88

You are smarter, more focused, and more brilliant than you give yourself credit for. Believe in yourself and truly know in your heart that you can do it.

If you passed the exam then I'd go hammer out some easy courses at a local community college in film appreciation, etc. I'd only spend money on a MBA or a Tax degree if tax is your thing.

Or if you want to teach accounting at the community college level then get the MAcc.

Some random online MAcc may set you back a few stacks and I can think of better ways to blow money.

    BEC - 78
    AUD - 75
    REG - 74, 79
    FAR - 75

You have to buy a ticket to win the raffle.

Going to second @Lion here. If you are just looking for hours – go the community college route. That's what I did, and CPA behind my name will look the same as yours.

I agree with not spending the time or money on a masters unless you have another compelling reason but if you're looking at programs I recommend southern New Hampshire university.

    FAR- 77
    AUD -49, 71, 84
    REG -56,75!
    BEC -75

Massachusetts CPA (non reporting) since 3/12.

I was in the same boat as you are. I decided to go with the below Masters program.
