How do you know if extra days in September or December will be opened up for testing? I’ve heard of them doing this before.

    Thanks!

Never count on additional days being opened up for testing. They are primarily opened for weather or emergency related reasons. As such you cannot predict when or even if additional days will be opened.

I was given the opportunity to take AUD in the first week of March this year, but only because the test center was closed due to snow on the day I was supposed to take my exam (2/28).

Even then I basically had to beg the state board to grant an extension. So, like the above poster said, it's probably best not to count on additional days becoming open.

    Same situation as DawgCPA89,

I was scheduled to take the exam 2/26, but center closed due to snow. I was told by the center that extra days would be available, but there weren't any. I don't know if all the appointments got snapped up or what, I rescheduled the minute I got the okay (you have to wait for an email for them to release your other date). So not only were there no dates available in March, there was only one slot available for 2/28 in the three states surrounding mine. I ended up taking the slot, driving down the night before and staying in a hotel. On the plus side, I passed AUD and didn't have to make the bed.

So don't count on extra testing days and if your center closes due to weather, I would advise you to watch your email like a hawk for the reschedule email.

    AUD - 77
    REG - 73, 80
    FAR - 69, 73, 79 and DONE!
    BEC - 82
