Can I even have an on topic post now that I have my CPA? Anyway has anyone ever gotten this? Super painful wrist and thumb. I have a splint, but as the day goes on working is getting to me. I am kind of a wimp about pain.

Yeah I just have a standard Dell mouse and keyboard. I didn't know about ergonomic mice! I will look into that. I've heard this can also be related to using a smartphone. But I guess I should do as much as possible to solve with things I can change.

yes!!!! I guarantee you its from your cell phone. I used to have the iphone 5s and had an extended battery case attached which made the phone heavier. I would search the internet and text with my thumbs. So I started getting shooting pain from my thumb on up close to my elbow. It was so bad it hurt to even write! I went to my doctor and she gave me some cream and pills and told me to wrap it. Since it was both hands I would sleep with both my hands wrapped (thumb included) looked like a mummy!! But the wrapping really helped. But it will start to hurt again as the day goes on. I got ride of the extended battery case and now try to surf the internet and text with my index finger or use voice text. And try to be conscious of how long I'm on my cell phone for. Pain is gone! stupid cell phone lol
