If your team is in, or you’re just a huge football nut, have you rearranged your studying method for Q1 testing?

Go figure for me, as a Cowboys fan (I can hear the jokes now), they are playing in January and I’m sitting for my last exam (end of Feb). Usually they don’t play any further than December, so I thought I was in the clear 😉

Anyway, I definitely got lucky this week with the holidays, but for those of you who watch, do you make time to watch football? Maybe, study during halftime? LOL

    Just wondering. 🙂

    GO COWBOYSSSSSSSS!

Greenbay will probably win it all this year. Mind you I'm from SoCal.

Football never got in the way of my studying. I would write out flash cards while yelling at the TV screen.

Seahawks fan here – born and raised. Woot!!!

@NJPRU — Insane, die-hard Cowboys fan here as well living in Houston (despise the Texans). I wanted to schedule my exam for tomorrow but am taking it next Friday instead. The boys are going to put a beat down on the Lions.

I'll have the exam out of the way for when the boys head up to Lambeau where the weather is probably snowing and in the teens.

I'm one of the psychos that has NFL Sunday Ticket. I live for it.

Lucky for me being a Vikings fan, I am usually free from watching them after half time during the regular season, cuz they are loosing so bad. Although Teddy did pretty good, being this was his first year as qb and I can't wait to see what he continues to do.

    LET'S GO PATRIOTS!

Thankfully they have a first round bye so it doesn't interfere with my studies or test.

And yes… I plan studying around football on Sundays and if the game is on a Monday or Thursday night I change a study night to some other time. I've literally been late to Thanksgiving dinners (had it a weekend late when they faced Browns one year) and other family events to watch my beloved Patriots.

HUGE Broncos fan here. Have my doubts this year though.

    The Patriots are looking good.

@Rocky, thanks! I'll let you know. The amount of material is such an overload. I've got a good handle on Fixed Assets, Leases, Bonds, Gov't, and Not-for-Profit though. Everything else is kind of 50/50 since it's a bunch of small topics. I'm just reviewing a lot of MCQ/Notes today and I'll review some SIMS right before the exam tomorrow. I just have a feeling SIMS are gonna kill me.

Be familiar with everything. You never know what could be tested.

Make sure you know IFRS. I had a TON of questions of it.

I'm done with the CPA exam, so I get to enjoy the playoffs. The Seahawks o-line could use some work, but their D is downright scary! 🙂

    Go Hawks!!!

Thanks @Rocky, I'm gonna tackle IFRS for about 2-3 hours tonight.

Hey Bobcat87. I'm also an insane Cowboys fan but I actually live 40 minutes south of Green Bay (long story, but my Dad's from Brownsville, TX so I was raised as a Cowboys fan in WI during the 90's). I'm so pumped for the playoffs to start and for Romo to finally get some respect. I never got why everyone in WI hates Romo (afterall he's from WI!) but they love JJ Watt. I mean, he's never been a jerk and plays just like Favre. I think people just love to hate on the boys. Needless to say, if we beat Detroit, the Cowboys coming to GB is going to be a huge deal. I already got my ticket so I'm going to the game no matter what, but I really want to be part of history if they come to GB and somehow actually win. The season was already a success no matter what happens cause they already beat all expectations, but I think they need to at least beat Detroit to be taking seriously in the future. If they beat Detroit, then I'll be happy all off season no matter what (cause I don't think they can beat GB and SEA on the road after a more than likely very physical game against Detroit). Only hope is that Roders is not on his game.
