I’ve been using a HP laserjet 1200 at work, and it died. It’s discontinued so I’m looking to update it. The 1200 has been a workhorse printer. My boss has used them for years with very little issue. It recently died so I’m looking around for something similar to it.

I like that the HP 1200 paper tray is easily accessed (not tucked under inside a tray) since I frequently switch out paper for payroll, etc.

    Any recommendations?

I've been using HP LaserJet Pro P1606dn Printer for years. It's a great b/w printer that does both manual (for checks, envelopes, etc.) and duplex printing. The printer can also be setup to be connected via wifi (ex. I can print from my phone/tablet as well).
