    Hi,

I recently took a government auditing role and while the job is nice, the pay is horrendous. I am thinking about trying to find a job as a seasonal tax preparer in order to supplement some of my income. I have one year of prior experience as a tax preparer at my previous job and think I will have no problem catching on, I also have my CPA. I was wondering if there were any people out on the forums that do this. Any suggestions? Can you make decent money (around $10k) working at an H&R Block, Liberty Tax Service type of place, a few nights per week and a few hours on Saturdays? Thanks!

Not sure about the others but h&r block starts at min wage regardless of credentials with an end of season bonuses. Got an offer 2 years ago, Boston area, was a licensed CPA already. Still find it amusing.
