I thought it would be cool if we could see where one another stand on this whole pass/fail thing. So, i thought I’d start us off…………….I prefer passing.

Mmm this is going to sound out of this world but.. Since I was such a coward during my FAR exam, I would rather someone else pass and me fail (since I really don't deserve the pass)

On the other hand, I would like to be in the 40% range of people who passed REG because I've taken it three times, I KNEW my $hit, I thought I did okay and I think I put in the work to deserve that pass!!!!!

Oh, so I'm supposed to just ASSUME what other people feel? Real nice Minimorty…….I try to make a forum where people feel welcome to share their diverse opinions on the pass/fail debate, and you come in touting your common sense and all that……..common sense would tell me to stop checking for my REG grade Minimorty…….but i don't….i keep….on…..checking. So you can take your common sense and <Insert something clever>,,,,,,,so there.

@mvonstei – I feel like I am being punk'd right now. Are you serious? Did you start a new thread asking people if they prefer to pass or fail? Are you expecting someone to say “Yeah, man, I hope I fail! I want to take FAR and REG 10 times. I hope I never get my license!”

I want to fail because I just love retaking these tests, I love spending money to reapply again, I love spending even more money to keep my study materials up to date, and best of all, I love dealing with Prometric's computer issue. Failing is awesome.

Ok ok, I want to pass. If anyone is spending their time and money taking these tests and hopes for a failing grade, then I'm sorry, I think you're crazy. Just sayin'.
