    Hi all,

I am going to be honest here because I am in desperate help. and also this is my first exam! So, I took audit three time already and here it goes:

    First Time- 47

    2nd – 65

    third- 53

First time, I literally finished all the lectures, exam questions and the AICPA exam released questions from Becker.

Second time, I got notes from a friend who passed the exam reading those

third time, my other friend told me to do the multiple choice questions as much as possible which I followed and it was a totally failure. but the funny part was that I got comparable for 3 sections which I didn’t get that for the second time that I got a better score and 3 weaker.

I need help on how to pass this exam. I am not going to schedule until I know a correct way of studying for this exam. I have been using Becker all around and I’m not sure if its time to change to another company. Please help me figure out how to pass this test! 🙁

Failed audit the first time. So I can relate. It sucks to study, put the time in and then fail. The first time around, I listened to all the Becker lectures, completed the mcq's twice and sims once. 68 is what I got for that effort.

The second time around I was honest with myself. (1) I did not leave myself enough time to study for this exam. 1 month only. (2) I had memorized a lot of the questions. So rather than knowing the answer for the right reason, I remembered it from my previous try instead. (3) Completing the sims once was not enough to prepare for that section of the exam.

The second time around I re-set Becker for that section.

    Per chapter:

I listened to all the lectures again.

    Completed the mcq's three times.

    Competed the sims once.

I did not move on from a chapter until I was comfortable with the material and scored in the 90s. After each subsequent chapter I would complete progress tests for the past chapters so I wouldn't forget what I had already learned.

Here's what gave me the final push (I think). I purchased the Wiley test bank for my final review. The material questioned is the same. BUT the questions are formulated differently. So you'll notice if you just memorized the Becker answers or really understand the subject matter.

Also, Wiley offered 30 more simulations which brought me to a comfort level I needed for that section of the exam.

I currently am following the same strategy for my FAR re-take, only with NINJA mcq's and sims this time.
