What is the % of students who pass all 4 first time? 30-40%
Greetings irish,
The CPA examination passing rate for Q1 2010 varies from 44% to 49%. So almost 50% of candidates taking the exam are passing. How many of this are first time takers I do not know.
i'm not 100%, but i've always heard that the percentage is around 12% for candidates who pass all 4 exams on the 1st try.
From what I heard it is around 10%. And I am one of those :)
Good luck!
I also just read on a couple of sites that the pass rate for all four parts the first time through is about 10%-15%. Praying to be in the minority!! Good luck to everyone!
Yea, but..........
Is it true that of all the candidates who continue testing, 83% eventually make it?
Ed, thanks for posting that link. I looked at some past years, and it looks like BEC historically has the lowest pass rate. I was not expecting to see that. Interesting stuff!
to me BEC is the most difficult of all 4. so I am not surprised to see this. one of the reasons is: this exam does not have simulations and it is not adjustable. they just put a template answer sheet to your answers and that's it. there is nothing to absorb the fail.
Yeah I guess that's true. I definitely feel less confident about my BEC score than I did with the other 3 sections. With the other 3 sections I could at least tell that the testlets got tougher, which helped ease my stress come score release time. With BEC though, I'm totally in the dark, and don't feel great about it.
