I thought about doing the Peace Corp. I called for more information. The first option the automated machine said was “Are you a stranded volunteer in need of help?” I hung up immediately and never called back for more information. That being said, run away run away!!!!! lol. I have BEC this week and am not looking forward to it. Try not to focus on the percentages you're getting with your review material. Focus on what the question is specifically asking, why the answer is correct or incorrect, read all of the choices and make sure you clearly understand. You still have PLENTY of time to iron out weaknesses. Luckily, BEC is only 5 chapters so it is very easy to keep going over the material. Keep pounding out MCQ!

    Good luck!

    Nah, you're fine.

Besides the Peace Corps is more hazardous to your health. My sister was sent home the SECOND time she contracted malaria.

Yeah, I would have come home the first time, thanks!

I love this forum, thanks all for the encourgagement. I guess if I stop drinking rum while studying I could average a 75. Happy New Year to all who have taken on this CPA challenge. My scores are improving slighly, slightly.

Peanut she was in Ghana at the time. The first time she recovered relatively quickły, round 2 didn't go as well. She's now happily living/teaching in Cambodia.

When I was in college, I was determined to join the Peace Corps. I went to Atlanta to sign up and they told me I didn't have any “skills” to teach. I guess being a graphics major wasn't useful enough. Oh well, I can teach them bond amortization and like kind exchanges now.

    Peace!

A fortune teller in New Orleans told me I was going to join the Peace Corp. It was so completely random, but my friends and I got a kick out of it.

    AUD: 92 (10/2011)
    BEC: 82 (7/2011)
    FAR: 55 (8/2010); 88 (8/2011)
    REG: 62 (8/2009); 87 (1/7/12)
    DONE!
