   I recently took my last section & waiting for scores. While I'm waiting I figure I would take the Ethics Part, so I called my CA Board to order my materials, and they told me I had to wait & pass all 4 sections AND get a congratulatory letter in the mail and THEN apply for ethics. This true? Anyone in California take & pass ethics before passing all 4 sections of cpa exam?\n

   NO you dont have to wait . U can take the ethic exam anytime. U dont have to pass all 4 in order to take it.\n

   Go to http://www.calcpa.org , thats where u order your package and take the test. CalCPA will send the result to the board once you are done\n

   Can you take it before you finish all 4 parts, but what's the rush? It is my understanding that the ethics exam is good for 2 years.

   It takes a weekend to do. Why not just wait until you're a couple months away from applying for your license?

   elsie: the letter isn't anything special. It does have the seal of the state though.\n

    potatogun - reason i want to get the ethics done is because I am unemployed, need a break from applying jobs, and waiting on my final audit score (hopefully my final score =)\n
