For those who work full-time, how do you fit in gym time and healthy meals? Panera Bread, Chipotle, and the cafeteria at work is my meal plan. I haven’t made it to the gym in months. I’m considering cancelling my membership. I could use that money elsewhere.

I make it happen. I'd go crazy with all of this pressure if I didn't exercises. I run before work 3 days a week and work out during lunch 2 days a week. I figure no matter what you're doing in life your health is important. I keep healthy food in my house, especially stuff to make a salad. It's all about scheduling. You can do it all if you just set up a plan. Honestly, in my opinion, if it's a priority you'll make it happen.

For workouts, I make sure to run at least on the weekends and then during the week just try to move/walk as much as I can. I have to say, lately my runs have become more of half walk half run, which is so sad.

I rarely eat outside. I like to make my own food and I generally keep it simple. I make smoothies on a regular basis, usually in the morning (throw a banana, some chia seeds, peanut butter, and kale in a blender with some coconut water or any plant based milk and you got a great smoothie that will give you lots of energy for the day). I also juice, but rarely right now because it is very time consuming. I make simple meals (think rotisserie chicken or salmon with rice and asparagus), sandwiches and salads, make sure to eat 1 avocado most days, and I also eat sardines as they are good for your brain.

Hate to sound like a broken record, but yeah “make it happen”. The week before my last test was the only week that month I didn't run. I'd go insane if I didn't run every other day. I haven't run a race since March, but I am running.

Believe it or not, you get health benefits with just 10 minutes of running, and Roger Bannister broke the mile record with 30 minutes a day. Like the others said, mix in walking during the day.

I agree with you. Just cancel the membership. I never had one even before I went to college.

I listen to ninja audio while at the gym and I cut my rest time down so that a 90 min workout becomes about 45 min. Also, I order meals from fuel meals. They heat up in about 25 min and are delicious.

If I cut out lifting too much it would ruin any study motivation because I would feel like shit. Get your workout in and if you have to skip give it at least a 20 min run or some cardio.

Quick read but getting some exercise in helps your brain function. Helps me with studying. As for eating, I bring my lunch to work which mostly consists of chicken and sweet potatoes cooked on Sunday and had throughout the week. Buying health later in life is expensive 😉
