Guys,

I’ve been in my new job about six months now and have, apparently, not been getting honest feedback to this point (It’s ok… or…you’re too hard on yourself). Now, it’s real.

If i’m being real, I ask for permission way too much. The PIP is based on jumping to conclusions and not asking questions of myself.

I’ve started to document action items for how i’m following up with people or asking myself questions.

I’ve had to beat one before, from HQ in Philly that were losing their jobs to us in Nashville. They handed them out like candy, and my office wasn’t sure it was necessary in the first place (at least, that’s what they told me).
