    Hello Everyone,

I am from NY and I want to apply to a job at a Big 4 and the job description contained the following “Completed Bachelor degree in Accounting (provided all of the minimum requirements are met for CPA licensure per respective state regulations), minor in Finance and/or Master of Accountancy preferred.”

Does the above mean that sentence mean that I must be eligible to sit for the CPA exam or does it mean I must have passed all 4 parts of the CPA exam and am just waiting on my experience requirement?

Maybe I’m just reading too much into this sentence but it’s a bit unclear.

    What are your thoughts?

    Thanks in advance

I am using Becker self study, ninja blitz and Wiley (I am using the paperback version of the testbank)

    Brief overview of study method:
    1. Skim through chapter quickly
    2. Watch lecture videos
    3. Take a lot of notes on what the lecturers emphasize
    4. Complete half HW after lectures half after rewriting notes

Sounds like they want all of the education requirements required by the state to get the CPA license, not just to sit for the exam.

    Florida:
AUD: 73, 81! Thank you Lord!
BEC: 73, 77! Thank you Lord! and WTB
REG: 71, 82! Thank you Lord! and A71
FAR: 72, 78! Thank you God and my Mommy in Heaven!

@teeteen by “all” education requirements are you referring to the 150 hour requirement?

Yes, if the state requires the 150 hours to get your license.

It just means we only hire people with double majors or a graduate degree that satisfies the sitting requirements, not 150 credits but not the right classes.. You do not have to be scheduled for the exam. Hell, if you don't care about the bonus you can wait a few years. Even more hell, you can say f it and just be an EA.

Thanks errdayimcpa..Was a little worried that it meant I had to have passed all 4 parts already.
