Hi guys,

I just took the Becker final exam (FAR).

scored as follows:

Testlet 1: 60

Testlet 2: 63

Testlet 3: 80

averaged 74 on the sims.

This is a failing score………… Not sure what to do…. I took it before I review what I have previously studied (Not a good excuse)….

I scored roughly a 69% on Becker Final Exam #1 and a 77% on Becker Final Exam #2. My actual exam score was a 93. You should never lose confidence in yourself, it certainly won't help things. With that said, I think the biggest part of these exams, FAR in particular is getting lucky and drawing questions you are comfortable with, especially on the SIMS. The first time I took FAR the SIMs seemed to be in a different language, the second time the SIMs were almost too easy. Good luck and don't forget your confidence on exam day.

Look at where your weak points are and review them. You have another 7 days before the exam, you can gets lots of review in before then. I think I had 70 on the practice exam 2 days before the test and ended up getting an 88 on FAR.

If you're averaging in the mid-70's on the Becker Final Exams with a week left to go, then you really have no reason to worry. The problems they put on those “exams” are way more difficult and complex than what you will actually see on test day. Just keep plugging away doing and redoing as many MC's as you can and reviewing areas where you still feel you are weak and you should have no problems passing the exam. Becker really does a good job of over-preparing you for the exams if you take the time to go through all the material and do MC's until you've mastered the concepts.

When I was working on AUD, I took the Final Exams a couple days before I sat, and averaged about a 75. Actual performance on the test was a 98, so yes, you are more prepared to take the exam than you think.

For what it's worth, I averaged a 70 on both of Becker's final exam review and ended up with a 79.

I scored roughly a 74 average on both Becker Finals and scored an 86. I felt like I did worse on the actual exam but you should be good just reviewing your weak areas.
