Postponing blues…

This Q4 window has not been good to me. With busy season in full effect I had to postpone REG to January and now am 10 days from FAR and haven’t done any studying. I can’t help but to be pretty disappointed, but I know it is probably the smarter thing to have myself the fees and move it.

My expiration dates are creeping up on me, though….(April and May 2014)….

Revised game plan: Hit on everything REG with Wiley for the rest of the year and take the exam beginning of January 2014. From then on hit FAR MCQ hard until Mid February – (just thinking of looking at FAR again makes me want to puke)

Jan-April is the slowest season of our year so I know I can devote 20 hours a week….

I really want this to be the end.

Does anyone have any advice or relatable situations to make myself feel like less of a loser?

    B 71 - 79 EXPIRED
    A 69 - 75 EXPIRED
    R 65 - 48 - 45
    F 56 - 61 - 65 - 64

Still need 30 more credits, in basket weaving (gotta love new CA requirements)

You are probably doing the smart and realistic thing.

The other thing to consider is that if the worst thing happens – you can have a 2nd shot in April and May.

    Reg 82; FAR 75; AUD 91; BEC 11/9/13; result due - 11/22/13

You are not a loser! And you are not the first person that has happened to. It sounds like you have a good plan to recover and get in those last two exams. You've come a long way to be ‘half way'. Stick to your game plan and you could be finished by February.

Very good advice…….I was in that dilemma whether to cancel or press to take the test anyway on the 5th of Dec. I just let it go. realistically I know I am not ready so why spend the money and torture myself to a deadline of discouragement. That's me though……I still say give yourself the best chance to pass. Half-way is a huge step towards finished, you will be fine just plan well and study, study, study. (At least that's what I am going to do). I should be ready the beginning of January. This round I am not taking no for an answer.

    It begins with a 75
