I am in. I intend on getting in 6 hours tomorrow and eight on sunday.This weekend, I am trying something new–I am rewriting notes ! I hope it works. Because in my eyes, audit is the pits!

Again today I got in eight, but I swear I feel like I barely touched the surface! UGH!

Count me in, I need to get as many as I can. I hope it will be my last weekend of studying for CPA :):):) It supposed to rain here all weekend, so I am not going anywhere, but study, study and study.

I'm right there with ya! It's nice to know so many of us are out there, all over the country, different ages, races, and religion, all united by this one goal. No one has any clue what we go through except for us and those who have been there.

I am definitely in. Technology and Music was my weakest link and I wasted so much of my study time. I am going to BEAT all this TEMPTATIONS AND DISTRACTIONS I get this weekend, and going to focus on one goal, only one goal — study.

OIY! Rewriting notes for the first time. My hand is tired–only got in 5.5 hours today.(But I tried to reread the notes and making sure I understood. Definitely a few lightbulb moments!) I wanted six and wanted to get more writing in. Surprised by how long it takes. I rewrote out 13 pages of typed notes. Tomorrow 8 hours.

Well today hasn't been a good day for studying for me. I woke up at 5am to get sometime in this morning and I couldn't since Wiley's testbank was down…..ugh!!! Brooklynn has been miserable since her teeth are coming in (she's getting 2 eye teeth at once). Lastly, my Dad came by to visit since my b-day is coming up. He treated us for dinner, which was a nice break from everything. I just put Brooklynn down for bed, hopefully she'll sleep through the night, but who knows if she will. She was up a few times last night. I just wish those damn teeth will just break through!!

Well anyways, time for me to try to sign in on the testbank and work some MCQs!! Wiley is my hot date for this Saturday night!!

same here, there's nothing better to do on weekends than study. Not.

how are you holding up? I'm finally done with all the lectures and HW in Becker (completed all the HW questions for A5 today). I'm going to start my writing marathon today as well, though I'm afraid I won't be able to accomplish much. I'm already exhausted after all those MCQ. And yes, handwritten notes take a lot of time, but it definitely pays off.

Working on mini tests of 20 MCQs and 2 sims…….not doing well, but at least I'm understanding why I answered wrong and why the answer that is right is right. Planning on working on tons of these mini tests today!!! For those of us who are sitting for the final few weeks of November….let's go get them!!!!!

hey guys!

I had to take a dinner break today (My son Cameron's 16th bday) so I am going to finish my 4.5 hours tonight . Already have logged almost 2 hours. Rewriting the notes is surprisingly helpful. The real test will be when I go back to the mcq's.

Rewriting the notes is working well, my hands are tired. But looking forward to getting back to mcq' and see if it helped . How are you doing? We are on the last lap here. I tell ya I am going to be soooo happy not studying over Thanksgiving.

Sounds like you are making headway on the material, which is great. Sometimes getting the wrong answer is more helpful than gettting it right!

I could only manage to get 7 hours in on Sunday. I wonder if I should take a crack at re-writing my notes though. Does that seem to help any of you?

@yankee He's doing okay. He did not have a treatment last week so he's pretty much back to normal. His second treatment is this Friday and I am taking Friday off to be with him. Thanks for remembering! I love this forum
