    Happy score release week!! I am hoping to get in about 40 hours this week, I am studying for AUD and probably FAR at the same time…that is unless I get a happy surprise on Thursday morning and find out I passed FAR. 🙂

    @JoMarie, I think waiting on scores might derail me a bit, but going to try and push through too! Come on good news 🙂

    @yankee – you can do this! I think starting from scratch every now and again is a good plan. I hope your husband took the news okay. 🙂

    Pacfic,

    Thanks! Third time is the charm, right? Of course, I didn't tell him. I know, I know. What a chicken sh*t! But honestly, I didn't want to hit him with bad news right off. My father in law has Alzheimer's, and they live about 10 minutes from us, so we do alot for them, we had to visit with them yesterday. The visits are always tough on my hubby. Hard for a guy to see his Dad in this state. I figured I would wait till after score release, it would be great to be able to say, I missed REG, but have good news on Audit!!!! I have no idea how I actually did, but I just want some good news!

    @yankee – I see nothing wrong with that, I would probably do the same. You have a lot on your plate right now and just remember you are doing the best you can. 🙂

    I am in this week! Lately I need someone to pinch me and say, Rebecca this is real life now and you need to get your butt moving and study or else these exams are going to haunt you forever! I don't know what it has been this past week but I have no motivation to study. I know a huge piece of it is a deadline I have at work that is causing me to work overtime but the rest of the time I am coming up with “excuses” as to why I can't study. Time to snap out of it and jump back in!!

    UGH! I am already behind. I did zilch yesterday. I am not going to get upset. I still feel like I have enough time to study. I have a busy day at work, so I am going to be happy if I get in 3 hours today—-that is ok, at least it is a start. Hope you guys have a good one!

    @ Pacific,

    Thanks again for your kind words. You are a constant supportive poster on the forum–I really appreciate your positive vibes.

    @marivy22

    I am sorry about your Dad, that must be so hard with him being far away. I think Alzheimers is such a cruel disease, it is so sad. I hope you will get to see him soon.

    @Rebecca

    Alright!!! We have to keep pushing each other. I am like you, I have no steam. But I know that will get me nowhere, so I am really going to force myself today!

    @JoMarie,

    You are doing great! I hope to start moving forward like you have been so far. Did your hubby start working closer to home yet? I thought I remember him changing/getting a new position closer to the house…???

    @yankee – Yes my hubby's job site did move closer to home. He still drives 1 1/2 hrs one way to work so 2 days a week he either stays at a friend's who lives near his job site or his Mom's. He started at the job site in the middle of November. The 2 weeks before my FAR exam he came home everynight so I can study. There are days I'm glad he comes home but sometimes I wish he didn't. You know what I mean. Like last night, he says to me “go study, I'll take care of the kids”, but he was so tired that he fell asleep on the couch. I was a little irrated but I have to remember his job is very physically demanding. He's a laborer for bricklayers. That's why I never scheduled a “day off” from studying, cause you never know what's going to happen. So if something does come up, I'll just not study that night. I was able to get in a few hours last night, after I finally got my 7 year old to bed. We've been having issuing with her not going to bed, well not listening at all. I believe it's all tied into me studying for this exam. Pretty much since May I've been doing nothing but studying. I'm so ready so move past this chapter in my life.

    Started sitting in May 2002, on and off. But since 2008 I've been nonstop and my scores are....
    AUD - 39, 48, 56, 65, 68, 73, 76!!! (Finally passed in Oct 2011!!!) Becker, NINJA, & Wiley

    @jomarie

    I hope things get easier for you really soon and you pass these exams NOW!

    I'm bumping the motivational video thread…I put a song on there last night (I think) that I came across recently.

    Hope its ok! I am joining in for the first time! Waiting for my FAR score to be release! Right now I am doing 2 hour/night studying for FAR. That will change to 4/5 hours per night starting January 1st. You know it is sad when 2 less hours a night of studying feels like a break!

    FAR - 68 (Gleim), 73 (Yaeger)
    AUD - 74, 71 (Gleim)
    BEC - ?
    REG - ?
