    Morning guys!

    @JoMarie—Today is the day!!! Go get it, CPA's in 2012. GOOOOO JOMarie!!!

    ~~

    I am going to run through the Wiley test bank this week, reread notes, and more mcq's!!! Not much time left for me, so it is on!!

    ~~~~
    @cpastudyvictim–Best of luck on BEC!!!
    @Pacific–Good to hear from you!!! For me, Audit was really hard. I think Roger was a key element in boosting my score. Plus, the third and 4th try I rewrote notes. That really helped get some points nailed in my head. I think I did one Becker Final exam, they usually crush me, so I am not a huge fan. Bascially, I did all the q's in Becker, and then used Wiley for massive practice tests. The final week, I just reread notes, did practice tests in Wiley, and the AICPA q's. This last time I quickly reveiwed sims. I tried not to put too much time into it. What review are you using?
    @MylifeisCPA–Good luck with REG, man, that B-law is kicking my butt (again!)
    @Marivy22
    Congrats again on BEC!! Looks like you had the best power weekend of all. That is so nice that you got to spend time with your family. I guess the point of all this “power” studying is so that we can have many, many “power” weekends with our families and friends 🙂
    Good luck with BEC….
    @ Yankee – I do fairly well on the BLaw portion as I did Stronger on the last exam. My issues are with the tax portion which is the greater percentage of your score.. So these next couple of weeks I am going to bang out the Tax sections really hard. And hopefully on the next score release I will see a passing AUD score so that I can be over the hump. lol
    BEC-Passed
    AUD-Passed
    REG-Passed
    FAR-Passed (I AM DONE!!! THANK U LORD!!!!)
    @MylifeisCPA,
    I think you have the right plan. I read on another thread a post from someone who just focused on the Tax portions since most of the points come from them, and passed. I didn't do so hot on the b-law homework in Becker, but then did a progress test in R4-R7 and got an 85%, so weird.
    I am really pulling for you on Audit!!! I have a good feeling!!!
    Have a great day!
    @yankee – thank you for the advice! I still have a long way to go and only 3 short weeks! Isn't amazing how a test seems so far away and then it is right there? It just happens overnight it seems!
    I have decided that since I have paid for this test and FAR which I have scheduled for the first of April that if I can't pass one of them I might just be calling this quits. My husband wants to see me happy and he is worried this test is just really taking a toll on me. On one hand I really hate the idea of quiting after all this time but at this point I don't have one passed test, I had passed REG but lost the score. My dream would have been to get this done (or at least have a couple tests passed) before a milestone birthday I am facing in June but I am just not sure. So, if I don't pass one of these next two tests that are scheduled I might just be calling it a day when it comes to the CPA exam. 🙁
    Thank you everyone. Just came back from shopping with the girls. Fun night after a stressful day!! I made it out alive and praying for a 75. I honestly don't know what to say about my exam today. Did my best and hoping for the best. At least today I didn't walk out with a headache like I did back in November.
    @Pacific
    I am disappointed to hear that, but can totally understand and empathize. This exam process is really hard on the soul. I had thought I would have been done by now, certainly my hubby thought this would be over. It has turned the CPA into a four letter word in my house. A huge cause of arguments and friction. I am glad to hear that your hubby is supportive, that can make all the difference. At the very least, you can make a decision with a clear head and take stock of what you want/need. I certainly don't want to see you quit, but I know that you are the only one who knows what you really need to do. Those damn milestone birthdays, they are a catch 22, a real double edged sword. Of course, please know that I am pulling for you on Audit. I believe this is a win for you to grab. Maybe knowing that you are ready to put this on hold, you will take some pressure off yourself and get this done 🙂
    On another note…..
    Personally, The Roger Cram is fabulous. He was an auditor back in the day, so I felt that he was really great at conveying the auditor's perspective, and that helped me understand things better.
    Keep the faith!
    @JoMarie,
    Sounds like you had some fun with the girls!! Well deserved. I am thinking the no headache thing is a good thing and that good news is coming your way!
