Hi everyone!! Who’s in with me?? I’m starting my final review this week. Going to try to hit 200 MCQs per day. Is this doable? What’s everyone else’s final review like?

Started sitting in May 2002, on and off. But since 2008 I've been nonstop and my scores are....

Hi Jomarie, 200 mcq's is doable if you are ok with the material. I have always tried to do 2 practice sessions the week before the exam which is 180 mcq's and 12 SIMS…………you can do it.

I am anxiously waiting for my REG score, I had a dream Saturday night with a 74 NNNNOOOO!!!

I'm in!!! Just over 2 weeks left. I want to get at least 18 hours in during the workweek. Rewriting Ninja notes tons of MCQ's and audio every chance I get! Good luck on your goal jomarie and sending good vibes for your REG score marivy!

I'm in! Starting my final review (10 days) for BEC this coming Sunday so I'm still trying to get through the material for now and then I'm going to hammer as many MCQs as I can during those 10 days.

@jomarie, I think if you do nothing but the MCQs each day then you can do it. For FAR, I found myself becoming overwhelmed with the amount of MCQs I was doing each day (around 200) and I think after awhile it just became too much and wasn't really effective….just don't burn yourself out before the exam 🙂

I am in! Or at least I hope I am. I have not been as productive as I should be. I am going through the wiley test bank, section by section. I hope to get through ~700 (50% of each section) by the middle of the week and then take a Becker Practice test to see what I need to focus in on. I am only 61 MCQ in so we will see…I am starting to question myself a lot. I just am tired of all the studying and stress and depression that comes along with this…

I'm with you! I am trying to do 200 MCQ's as well. I'm beating down my flashcards and ninja notes too though. I have to change it up this last week or I just won't make it.

It's interesting how someone said that they are sick of all the stress and depression that goes along with this. It's nice to hear that I am not the only person who is truly questioning my sanity right now. I have the final review blues, that's for sure. But short term pain for long term gain is what I'm going for right now. I am not going down without a fight on Monday. I really feel like things are finally coming together. I hope these epiphanies continue the next 6 days of my final review!

Not good! I am totally slacking. I keep thinking about my REG score and about my upcoming trip to Scotland and San Antonio for work and get bogged down in all the prep for those. I need a swift kick in the booty!

Well we're halfway through the week and I'm feeling a little overwhelmed with BEC but it's not too bad. I started the Financial Planning and Analysis (with all the crappy variances) and struggled with it yesterday. I found a few mnemonics later in the day and they seem to be helping a little so I figure if I just keep pounding the MCQs that it'll get better. I start the Economics section tomorrow and IT on Friday or Saturday then I begin my final review. I hope between now and then I don't start freaking out and doubting myself—that's what happened with FAR and I went into the exam as a huge ball of stress (my mind basically went blank from the tension) and it definitely hurt my performance. Well at least that's what I think….I will find out next week if I passed or not :/

@jomarie, I'm on board with you. I definitely think 200 MCQs starts to become overkill. My brain starts to go to mush after 130-150. Scale back a little and review your notes/flashcards in addition to the MCQs, that way you can switch it up a little. Good luck!

@akb, my mind would be drifting too if I was going to Scotland and San Antonio! How exciting! Just remember what is priority and you should be fine. Good luck and have a great time on your trips! 🙂

Thank you for the vote of confidence 🙂 Luckily the next 3 days at work will be pretty slow so I hope to really dig into the MCQ. I wanted to be half way through Wiley test back my the end of the day. I don't think that will happen but I am going to do my best. I really want to take a Becker practice test Saturday morning before I drive to San Antonio. Fingers crossed! Good luck with BEC! When do you take it?

Not as well as I had hoped but still plugging along!!! I WILL put as much into this as I can in the next 13 days!!! I am halfway through the notes and trying to work on as many MCQ's as I can to switch it up a little. I hope to get through all the notes by Friday and get though TONS of MCQ's from Sat until the 28th. That gives me 10 days of final review. I want to work at least 120-150 a day once I get to that point. Adding fact nuggets to my notes as I go.

I hit a little bit of a wall last night. After re-writing notes for almost 3 hours, I took a hour long break and then started some MCQ's. I did horribly. I did 2 sets of 30 questions and had to call it quits for the night. I got a good bit done yesterday with the notes but I hate those days where I seem to struggle on MCQ's. But, back at it today.

@akb You got this!! Just dig in and get it done!!

@jomarie Good fro you trying 200 MCQ's a day. I am like EELCPA, even on a good day, my mind seems to turn off after about 150!! Tweak it a little if it is not working. It only matters that you get the quality time in. I tell myself all the time not to get too hung up on the numbers. Just set a goal and make sure I am LEARNING as much as possible. If I feel like I am rushing through just to try to get “done” I am not getting as much out of it.

@Mrs300 I think we all have those depressed days. Especially when we get overwhelmed. Coming here helps a lot so you know you are not alone. I just started this journey back in March so I am really new but having the support and understanding of everyone here has been huge!!

Well, my 200 MCQ per day is not really going as planned. I did 350 over the weekend, 200 on Monday and only 50 yesterday. I did to my flashcards yesterday and looked over leases. I have today off so I'm going to try and do 300 MCQs and kill off Ch 6 and Ch 7 in Becker for my final review.

I am starting to feel like I'm memorizing the answers in Becker and Wiley though so I'm kind of backing off of MC and trying to change it up.
