It’s the end of the quarter and I know many of us are entering our final review stage. I am studying for my last test (REG), which I will take Dec 6.

I thought I would bring back JoMarie’s power week so we can challenge ourselves to make every day count in these fnal days. I start Big 4 in Jan and recently quit my full time corp accounting job in order to study full time. I have no excuse not to pass this last section, which is actually a TON of pressure and stresses me out more than working, but I am thankful for the opportunity.

I have decided to skip the videos unless I am really struggling with a topic because even after watching them I am only scoring 50-60% and I find myself spacing out or doing other things. So my new plan is to read a section of the NINJA notes, then listen to the corresponding audio track while reading the notes, read the Yaeger handout for that module and then do a ton of MCQs until I’m scoring 70-80% on that section. Rinse and repeat for all modules. I’m hoping to get through the material by Friday and then have a full week for review. I’m definitely cutting it close, but this is my number one priority between now and Dec 6!

For those that study full time, how many MCQs do you do per day?

I am currently rewriting NINJA notes for AUD. It's my first run through and I have about 5 weeks until show time. If I can finish my first run this week I can reassess and then work my way through troubled areas which was just about…everything. 🙂

Got a few more business law sections to finish then the plan to nail out MCQ review this weekend and up to next thursday. I have noooo social plans and will keep my phone off. I am kicking myself for not being able to get up at 5 or even 5:30 to do my E in the ELL. Ugh, been dragging out of bed by 6:30 to only study a half an hour…

This is time for royal rumble, I go into battle on Thursday at 5PM. Going to be interesting going into the exam when it is dark, I'm debating on what to focus on that day to not burn myself out.

I am trying to convince myself I feel comfortable with the material. I took way too much time off again and didn't find time to go through the book so I have just been doing Wiley and Becker questions as well as rewriting Becker's flashcards.

Tonight I plan to finish up sampling and evidence and hopefully get a start on the reports. Want to make sure I have those down, PAT!

Good luck everyone!! The thought that after this exam I may be half-way through this hell trip is crazy to me!

Because of the hurricane and some people's exams were cancelled! I think it's up til Dec 6 or 7th?

Tried to reschedule my exam from tomorrow to the 5th or so but it was $75 🙁

Count me in, I'm on deck Dec. 6th for FAR, again.

It honestly feels like a struggle right now. I ‘m bored with the material . . . but I'm not scoring well on the Wiley MCP's so I obviously don't know it well enough.

My plan is to keep to doing MCP's and reviewing the Ninja notes, not sure what else to do at this point.

OUCH! Mine was only $57 but I read within 5 days of the exam it can be $88, I was 4 days away from my exam but I dont think they realized it 🙂

@littlenumber I just rescheduled a Jan exam and read the email that said it was $35 between 5-30 days and less than 5 is the $75 fee, Crazy!

Count me in too. I am taking REG ( Lost credit) on Dec 8th. Stay at home mom, so planning on studying at least 8 hours each day. I am using Yaeger 2010 videos with Wiley 2012 book and test bank and the NINJA notes. I am only 1/4th done with the material at this time, hoping to complete everything by Dec 4th to start my reviews.

My goal by Friday is to complete Individual Tax, Gift Tax, Professional responsibility and Ethics. By then, I intend to make intense notes, do all MCQs in the Wiley book and CPAreviewforfree questions. Hoping to reach that goal sooner!

I am in! REG is my last exam, I'm halfway through my final review (Middle of R4). I'm not sure how to feel, the pressure is definitely on and I know so many people who have recently failed REG but I am trying to do both the Becker and Wiley CPA test bank for the Tax Chapters, Becker alone for the Business Law Chapters, and additional SIMs from CPAReviewforfree! A lot to do.
