Anybody have experience with submitting a pre-evaluation to identify academic deficiencies ?

I would like to eventually apply for a Massachusetts non-reporting license, and I am not certain that my past and ongoing education will meet the requirements.

Any advice on applying would be appreciated

IF YOU HAVE PREVIOUSLY PASSED THE UNIFORM CPA EXAMINATION, DO NOT SUBMIT THIS FORM. SEE http://WWW.NASBA.ORG FOR LICENSURE INFORMATION. Well first of all do you have a master's degree? That is required for a non reporting license. To use 150 credits you'll need 1 year experience in public accounting.

    FAR- 77
    AUD -49, 71, 84
    REG -56,75!
    BEC -75

Massachusetts CPA (non reporting) since 3/12.

    Hi Wendy,

I can't speak to MA, but I submitted a pre-evaluation to the Colorado board. I don't think we have a difference between reporting and non-reporting, but they got back to me about 3 weeks after submission.

I did my undergraduate degree outside of the U.S., so I think step 1 (even before the pre-evaluation) is to have a international credential evaluation done…

mla1169, I have an MBA from a fancy U.S. school, so I think I will not have trouble meeting that particular requirement of the non-reporting license.
